want to explore marketing and media? join our team.
August 25, 2025

At ac, we believe empowered people build powerful systems. That includes creating space for students who want to learn the ropes of marketing, PR, and media in real time.

We’re opening up a new role on our team: marketing and media assistant. This is a part-time, flexible position for a student who’s curious about communications, creative work, and storytelling.

what you’ll do

As our marketing and media assistant, you’ll get to:

  • draft and schedule social media posts
  • help out with photo and video projects (from file organization to on-site shoots)
  • pitch in on blog, newsletter, and campaign ideas
  • research communications and education trends
  • learn how to adapt writing and design to different voices (from ac’s own brand to the unique tones of our district partners)

why it matters

Every project we take on is about more than marketing. It’s about helping school districts tell their stories with clarity and heart. As part of this role, your work will directly support the way schools build trust with their communities.

It’s hands-on, meaningful, and rooted in our core values: servant leadership, bountiful harvesting, reliable overseeing, and vision planting.

what you’ll gain

  • real-world experience in marketing, PR, and media
  • mentorship from a team of teachers-turned-communicators
  • a flexible schedule that respects your classes and commitments
  • portfolio-worthy projects you can take with you into your career
  • a supportive, creative work culture

the details

  • part-time, approx. 5–10 hours per week
  • remote-friendly, with occasional in-person opportunities if local
  • hourly pay (rate will be set based on experience)
