Every person on this team came up through public education. We didn't study this world from the outside: we worked in it. And honestly? Our clients don't just get a team. They get people who show up for them, remember what matters, and celebrate every win like it's their own. Because at Alchemy, it kind of is.
we are school people first
brooke goff
founder + ceo
Brooke taught middle school social studies and language arts for ten years before anyone convinced her to leave the classroom. She's glad they did (and also a little suspicious of anyone who makes that transition too easily).
She moved into district innovation and technology, became a Google Certified Innovator + Trainer, and spent years traveling the country training school and district leaders before landing in PR and eventually building Alchemy.
She'll be honest with you even when it's uncomfortable and then turn it into a joke and you'll never knew what hit you...that's not a bug, it's the whole point.
Her great danes show up on Google Meets without warning but trust us, you'll know they are there. Her office walls are covered in murals she painted herself: unfinished, unmatched, a little wild but full of joy and completely on purpose.
She started Alchemy because districts were doing remarkable work that nobody could see. She's still here for the same reason.
kristen waits
chief operations officer
Kristen spent 13 years inside a school district doing basically every job that exists: receptionist, board secretary, accounts payable, communications specialist, you name it. When Alchemy first showed up as a vendor, she thought Brooke was there to steal her job. (She was not.)
Now she's the one who keeps the whole operation running and she does most of her best design work after midnight while the rest of us are asleep. She's also a mom to a six-year-old who, by all accounts, is full of sass and personality.
