how we use ai
Last updated: 2026-11-02
Yes, we use AI.
Here's how, so you never have to wonder.
why we're telling you
Trust is the whole job. You should know how the work gets made, and you should know that a real person stands behind every piece of it.
what we use it for
We use AI tools for the parts of the work that eat the most time. That means drafting first versions of writing, summarizing meeting notes, organizing and tagging content, brainstorming, and automating routine tasks like reminders and task lists.
These are the tools we use most on client work, and how. If you ask about a specific tool, we'll tell you. When this list changes, we update this page.
- ChatGPT (business version) and Claude: drafting first versions of writing, brainstorming, and organizing content.
- Granola: recording and summarizing our meeting notes.
- Canva and Adobe (Express and Firefly): design tools with built-in AI image and writing features.
- monday.com: running our business operations and workflows, including reminders and task lists.
- Metricool and Flodesk: scheduling social media and sending email.
- Make: automating routine tasks between our tools.
what we never do
- We never put student records or other non-public student information into an AI tool.
- Non-public district information, like meeting notes, only goes into business tools we've set up for our work. It never goes into free public AI tools.
- We never use AI to make decisions about students or staff.
- We never invent quotes, stories, testimonials, or statistics. Every quote and story comes from a real person and a real moment.
- We never present AI-made images or voices as real photos or real people.
who checks the work
A person on our team reads, edits, and approves everything before a client sees it. We check names, dates, numbers, and facts against the source. If we send it, we stand behind it.
your voice stays yours
AI helps us get to a first draft faster. It doesn't replace the people, the places or the stories in your district. We write in your voice, and you provide the details.
your choice
If you'd rather we not use AI on your project, tell us. We'll work without it, and we'll talk through what that changes.
